I had recently put another machine on line but also needed to move the printer / scanner to another room. I should point out that I could print to the 845 just fine, and the Epson scan software also allowed me to scan perfectly - I simply could no longer to a one-touch "scan to PC" as I had been doing. I tried any number of things (updating driver etc) and nothing made it work. That is, when I attempted to scan FROM THE UNIT (not using the scan software on the PC but the keys on the Workforce) and while the SCAN TO PC menu was there the host machine, but the host machine was no longer visible (nor was a second machine that I recently added). Recently the unit stopped seeing the one PC that was accessing it for printing and scanning purposes. For the longest time things have been fine - full functionality. I have had a Epson Workforce 845 printer / scanner for years.
